As the name suggests. Windows will only accept audio from this device as a mono signal sampled at 96kHz. The card accepts a stereo signal with a sampling frequency of 48 kHz. The headphone jack on the card sends a stereo signal (I checked), but for some reason the software drivers are broken so all windows see 96kHz mono. The video quality is great and the sound quality is okay. , but it can't really be used for recording or streaming for the simple reason that device drivers aren't working properly, resulting in a summed mono signal. The only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1 is the cost and that there is a 3rd party program that can fix the problem. However, I haven't managed to get the 3rd party software to work yet and if I still can't in the next few days I'll probably be returning the product.
