No need to pay more

I bought a few cans of Great Stuff Pro at my local hardware store (I've read that some people who shop online have had their cans expired so I'm going to bricks and a motor gone to make sure to shop to make sure I have fresh supplies). Now all I needed was an applicator. The Great Stuff they had in store was 40% more expensive than what I had seen online, so I pressed this model instead. At first I was wondering about compatibility issues since it's a different brand, but all manufacturers seem to be using the same interface standard, so that's not an issue. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. So far I've fitted about 10 cans and only once did it not fit properly, causing leaks at the interface. I removed the glass, cleaned everything and the second time it was right. So I would say there are no compatibility issues. Not only is the metal of this applicator cheaper, but it's also fully coated with Teflon, making it easy to clean, even if I made a mess and didn't clean it. for the recommended time (suggest wiping your nose every 10 minutes). There were four straws in the box. Two were short and tapered to get into tight gaps, while the other two were longer for deeper holes or going around corners. Eventually I wanted even longer straws for that tricky area near the ceiling, but the packaging limits the length of straws they can give you. After each use I clean the straws with gun cleaner (acetone) and they are good as new. Overall, it cost me less than the competition, is Teflon coated, and is compatible with Great Stuff (and others). . It is not easy.
