Review on Kaytee Simple Sleeper Cozy Hammock by Tracy Jones

I bought this as an open bed for one of my guinea pigs. Considering it was made as a sleeping hammock for rats and Crowley was just a kid, I was shocked that the stitching came undone within a week of installation. If my 4kg Peruvian were to breakdance in it I might understand the tearing of the seams (although to be honest if he did breakdance I would have major issues other than the seams). The two hooks detached from the rest of the hammock and Crowley remained lying on the floor of his cage with a clearly confused look on his face as he wondered what had just happened. I have other hammocks from this brand and this has never happened so I hope it was just an accident. They *can* be reliable, but check your stitching before you put them on lest you end up with an angry pet looking for a finger to chew on and a hairless monkey to chew on.
