After purchasing the 8 liter Ninja Foodi I bought one of these Goldlion skewers to make skewers. I've also cooked hot dogs with him. I had to cut about a quarter inch off the end of the hot dogs to fit the skewer and then thread the ends onto a separate skewer. Since there are 8 hot dogs in the package, I had a lot of skewers. Well, after 8 minutes I had perfect hot dogs. I didn't have to have anything to do with the hot dogs. I used to cut and slice hot dogs for the fryer, but if you don't get it right with every hot dog, some of them will twist and curl, making the hot dog bun difficult to set in. On the spit they are straight without all that.
