Blindingly bright! on Dogs

Some people may complain that it doesn't shine 30 meters, but that's only because you have to point it at the dog and get the dog to hold its head , which rarely happens. My Rottweiler mix is large, but she almost always sniffs with her head down. But still, the light is so bright that in dark places it illuminates the entire front of her nose. If she holds her head up, I wouldn't be surprised if she dazzles oncoming traffic. It's light. I was afraid the batteries would last a day or two but it's been a few days (can update in a few weeks to see) but so far the batteries are holding up (requires 3 AAA batteries). It's like riding a motorcycle. And it's especially useful if you live in the northern parts of the US or Canada, where it gets dark early in the winter. And also because my dog doesn't get along with other dogs. So this is a good warning for other dog owners to know and stay away. A good product! (beautiful). Now I want them to design a harness for a large dog with lights on the sides. I would buy that immediately. ***UPDATE*** 12/12/14 After about 9 weeks of night hikes last winter and about 6 weeks the second winter (it's very dark in the far Northwest of the US) the batteries are still dead. Even after sitting in a drawer all summer (I never took the batteries out). It's amazing that the batteries last so long and stay so bright. And these walks last about 30 minutes, not a short 5-10 minutes. Good product!
