Bought to fill my boat with gas. Trying to fill up a boat on the water with a conventional gas cylinder is a disaster - the gas almost always ends up in the water. In this case you simply insert the hose into the filler tube, insert the brass end into the gas cylinder and shake until the gas runs clear. It takes about 2-3 minutes to empty a five liter jar. The gas cylinder must be above the filler neck so that it can suction. The only downside is that the hose is a bit stiff initially and will retain its curvature when inserted into a gas cylinder. If you leave it in the sun, it will soften and straighten up. After that it works great - no mess - not a single drop gets into the water or anywhere else.
