I added a few of these to my compressor for an extra quick connect and to move the main gauge after adding a second regulator. I wanted to add bar hardware for strength, but I also believe you get a slightly higher CFM with bars. They are very well made and very durable. The threads on both the male and female sides are immaculate and perfectly aligned. I am very happy with the Anderson Metals hardware and will be using them in the future when I complete my project of adding a remote controlled air duct to my garage.
