Great concept for generators and portable power sources

I have this in my 10x12 carp pond in my backyard. It will take time to tell if this really works, but I like the concept. My only issue is that it floats and gets stuck in the pond at random spots. You can pin it in one spot, but then it won't be effective in any other area, so it looks like you'll have to float it around to cover the pond. I don't think that works in deeper areas of the pond? I have another pond UV filter, but with this one the pump actually sucks the water out of the pond through the tube with the light source and then filtered back into the pond. I feel like this gets the water circulating and really kills the algae. In the shallow part of the pond exposed to the sun I get a lot of algae even with the pump's UV filter so I was hoping it could hit that area and keep it clean so I'll aim for that. - I think it could be a great device for target areas. I'll update my review this summer after I've had time to see how well it works.
