Ford's quality control sucks.
If you have a Ford with a stupid 5.0 liter whistle (not a whistle but a high pitched tone) this will eliminate it! You have to install back. It is absolutely ridiculous that Ford Quality Assurance missed this and that it was considered an acceptable noise. Except that it's annoying. But thankfully, this seal eliminates the whistling noise. MY TRUCK is a 2019 F150 with a 5.0L engine and an original Ford whistle.
