it works as advertized
I like this string lights. The light string appears to be designed for outdoor and that is where i use them. I plug the USB plug into a 5 volt 2.4-amp USB wall charger. I dont believe this part is waterproof so if you don't have a watertight enclosure, I cut the end of a plastic bottle off and stuck the USB, wall charger plugged into an extension cord into it to provide a dry environment. The remote works from 1 to 2 ft as most remotes of this kind. Overall, it does as advertised. Time will tell.
