So far this memory has shown an overclocking potential well above expectations, especially for the ridiculously low price I paid for two 16GB DIMMs. The default XMP profile is 3200, 16-18-18. For fun I increased the clock speed to 3700 and the timings to 18-19-19 and rebooted into MemTest86 expecting the first test to fail immediately. Of course not, and the memory cleared all tests with no errors, meaning they're stable at elevated clock speeds and timings. This is at least partly due to the c-die Hynix CJR modules that Kingston uses for this. CJR/c-Dies are known for offering exceptional overclocking, almost on par with discontinued Samsung B-Dies. I should note that this is on an Intel chipset (z370). AMD platforms are more sensitive to higher frequencies. Memory speed due to a completely different architecture and the way the memory controller is integrated.
