We used this on our farm to connect one building to another. We needed internet access in the center of the farm to run a temperature/humidity sensor cloud system. The device worked great for a 300ft connection paired out of the box after we applied power. We can now install additional sensors in cold stores and greenhouses and provide a wireless router at the other end of the line for better internet access on the farm (mainly for data entry). We were limited for a while because we didn't want to run an ethernet cable under a patch of gravel. I wish the units came with an ethernet cable, otherwise we were able to easily mount the unit to a pole using the clamp that came with it.
