I bought these dots for my 19 month old daughter and she loves using them! They have a smaller tip and an overall container size that's perfect for their little hand. We don't use them with dotted sides, we only do children's drawings. Other reviewers commented that the dot was too small for dotted patterns. They're flavored and shimmery which is so cool! The smells are pleasant and don't smell like paint at all. My only negative observation is that washable paint is not the same as Crayola washable paint. Rather ink based for lack of a better description, it will stain little hands even if washed immediately afterwards. This is definitely a lame business. I have not used other character points to compare the ease of cleaning with those that might be the nature of the beast. My daughter loves using it every time and even likes to play with the twist lock. Happy child, happy mother!
