Review on Black Velo Elastomer Bike Saddle, 264x220mm by Gunaraj Callaham

I hate to be rude but I have to be honest. For the purpose for which it is sold, this seat is not soft enough in my opinion. I'm in good shape and this seat is good for short rides, maybe 20-30 minutes. But if you make long journeys and want more comfort in the seat, this seat will not work. I have two bikes, one has this seat and the other has a seat that I paid twice as much for at the local bike shop. When my girlfriend and I went on an almost two hour bike ride, her ass started to hurt in that seat, so we switched bikes. I have to say I was sad that she suffered from the hard bike seat for so long while I had a nice expensive soft seat - how selfish of me! I bought this seat to fit a spare bike and never sat on it before this bike ride. Needless to say I will be going back to my local bike shop and buying another expensive padded seat as it is worth every penny! And I don't know what I'm going to do with this seat because I can't return it anymore. I have to say my butt is pretty firm without much fat as I work out a lot. I'm also not a whiner at all, so I'm not being overly critical, just being honest. My girlfriend has a much rounder and softer butt than me (I hope she's not reading this, but if you're reading this babe please know that I love your butt the way it is!). So we both cover a wide range of asses (!) so I think our experience will be valid for the vast majority of people. Just say!
