Fantastic bike saddle regardless of price

I'm no bike expert but over the years I've had at least half a dozen saddles on different bikes. I have never had such a comfortable bike seat. I have tried one of the expensive leather saddles and it is undoubtedly better. From the first touch it feels firm but not harsh and stays comfortable for a long time. I commute 8 miles one way to work on my bike and it definitely improved my experience.

This seat was very comfortable for all day mountain biking 30+ miles.

This seat was extremely comfortable after a day of mountain biking on over 30 miles of steep and sometimes rocky dirt roads and singletrack in Tahoe and Mammoth, California. Other seats that also have springs may have a bit more rebound/cushion, but this seat is lighter (1lb) than some suspension seats and this seat's cushioning is still very good without springs. Great seat! Easy to install

I love this saddle, I replaced the OEM saddle on my Cannondale mountain bike. I just removed the OEM hardware from a ridiculously small standard sized saddle that was customized to fit my saddle and attached it to this seat (I didn't use the seat clamp that came with this saddle). Fits/works perfectly and I now enjoy endless hours of comfortable driving. Holds up well, looks new, drains water and mine is on the balcony of my house so it's outside year round.

  • All right!

Fits my bike

It wasn't the best fit for my mountain bike, but it fits my bike (no bumps in my basement). Not a bad chair for the price. My only minor flaws are that the lid on mine is not the same as the picture. I have the appearance of semi-gloss vinyl, not the "alligator" texture shown in the picture. However, it doesn't affect how it works on my trainer. However, if I were to use it on my mountain bike, I would be annoyed because the alligator leather case looks "cool”, as young people would say.

Comfortable, light and not too big

This was the third seat I tried and finally the one I settled on. I couldn't get comfortable in the regular rocket seats in the crotch. When I first started using this seat on my Specialized MTB I weighed 200 pounds but now I weigh 177 pounds. I could do with a smaller seat for my lighter weight, but it still feels good. This seat is quite comfortable for my 10km or 30-60 minute rides. It's not a very big seat like some other cruisers. this. I've used it on a single lane and it doesn't…

DO NOT BUY if you are of average build.

WARNING, it is well made and may fit you IF you are taller than average. I am a 5ft 10ft 165lb male with a 32 inch waist which I have never found to be small. Anyway, I'm boringly average build, neither skinny nor fat, and I'm reasonably fit. This seat is too wide for my legs to spread my legs without chafing my inner thighs. As a result, I tend to slide forward in the seat until it becomes snug enough to "circle" my legs. It puts pressure on my perineum. and effectively kills the purpose of…

Great saddle for a hybrid, cruiser or exercise bike.

Everyone's anatomy is different - I'm male, 1.6m tall and 85kg - so your experience may differ from mine. I tested 6 different saddles on my road bike and the ProForm 290 SPX indoor cycle trainer that I use on rainy days. The six saddles were: 1) Serfas Performance RX (very good for a road bike - it's on mine), 2) Serfas E-Gel hybrid bike saddle with cutout (by far the worst and least comfortable - see my review of this item) , 3) Selle Royal Lookin Moderate Cool Xsenium Bi-Color Actex bike…

Insufficient cushioning. Wouldn't buy again.

I hate to be rude but I have to be honest. For the purpose for which it is sold, this seat is not soft enough in my opinion. I'm in good shape and this seat is good for short rides, maybe 20-30 minutes. But if you make long journeys and want more comfort in the seat, this seat will not work. I have two bikes, one has this seat and the other has a seat that I paid twice as much for at the local bike shop. When my girlfriend and I went on an almost two hour bike ride, her ass started to hurt in…
