Review on ๐Ÿšด Willworx Bike Super Stand, Gray Metallic: Sturdy and Space-Saving Storage Solution by Peter Nobles

Get welded version

I bought the Bike Super Stand just after I got the WillWorx Fat Bike Stand. I am happy with the Fat Bike but less happy with the Super Stand due to quality issues. Threaded Inserts/Protrusions not perpendicular to mating surfaces. This was most evident on the short cross tube. After assembling all the parts with loose screws and placing the stand on a flat workbench, I tightened all the screws. Due to the poor fit, the stand warped to the point where one leg was pulled off the bench by almost an inch. I loosened the screws and the stand was flat again. I carefully tightened the screws and found the spot where the foot was just beginning to detach from the bench. The screws are tight but far from tight and will need to be tightened after using the stand a few times. I plan on gluing the pieces together so the block doesn't come loose. I recommend getting the welded version for a few bucks more. Also note that the stand has a smooth matte silver finish, not the dark gray wavy finish shown on the website. The Fat Bike stand was dark gray with a corrugated finish. I am very happy with how well the stand protects my mountain bike. Rolls in and out of the stand easily. My bike has 29x2.3 tires and I found that the 29er extensions I ordered with the kickstand were not necessary.
