I have been embroidering for 20 years and had a hat frame, but not this one. I bought it because of the price but didn't know how it works. I followed the instructions and pictures that were attached and let me tell you. I was so angry I was ready to spit bullets! When I set up the hoop, flipped the design, and test drove the hoop, my machine went nuts and I had to take it in for repair because it caught on a cable and threw the embroidery arm out of position. . So what turned out to be a $20 Christmas present turned into a $300 Christmas present! You'll need to repeat the instructions for placing the hatbands! It should be on top of the tire, not on the side. And the design needs to be reversed in order to be embroidered. I will look for other hat bands that are the best quality for my car. This is madness!
