Terrible instructions. So far the product is really good. It took me about ten minutes to figure out why the suction cup wasn't holding firmly to the dashboard. Luckily I found out. When you press the device, the suction cup should be flush, then the small clip needs to be pushed up about 4-6 times for suction to occur, after that you can snap the clip and it should hold very firmly. The phone holder clips onto the phone and locks it. It has a retractable lever to bring the phone closer to the driver, which is a nice feature. I would recommend this product but please note the instructions are not detailed.
