They came quickly and just in time for all the hats I'm knitting for Christmas. As others have noted they have blunter ends than many and that is one of the best features for me and the way I knit. I've tried many types and these work the best. I often pull the stitches off the needles with my fingers, and the sharpest stitches hurt! Bamboo is the worst, but I have the same issues with other wood, metal, and acrylic products. After an hour or two, my fingers are very sore and tender, but not with these needles. For such inexpensive needles, they are of surprisingly good quality. Although the tips are more rounded, I had no trouble getting under the stitches, even when knitting two together or knitting one stitch front and back, and had no problems with the yarn splitting. The joints are smooth and the seams slide easily over them. The cables are strong yet flexible. So far I have used 4 of the larger ones (I went through the case with my handy needle gauge and marker and marked each with the correct US size) and am very happy with them. I wish they came in a size larger than a US size 8. I wish they were available in sizes 9, 10 and 11 too.
