Best Small Timer

I love its small size and easy setup. I had to take pills every 8 hours for a week. I just set the timer for 8 hours, took the pills and then reset it for another 8 hours. Simply peaceful. Also when watering the lawn I just set it to 1 hour and use it as a reminder to turn off the sprinklers. There are 3 buttons. two buttons, then press the bottom button to start the timer. The colon between the hours and minutes "flashes" to let you know the timer is about to expire. When the time has expired, an acoustic signal sounds. Pressing the top button (hour) will silence the alarm and reset everything to zero. There is a small magnet on the back so you can attach it to the fridge or stove, etc. It also has a small "leg" on the back so you can attach it. vertically on a table if you wish. The "leg" is spring loaded so you can clip it to your shirt and take it with you as you walk around the house. The digital display is very easy to read, but as far as I know it is not backlit. This really isn't a problem as all you have to do is wait for the beep to sound. This is my second as I had the first for many years and eventually the display started to lose some parts of the numeric readout. However, it still works like a charm. So I was happy to have two timers when it came time to set one for 8 hour pills and the other for 1 hour lawn watering. Summary: Small, light weight, easy setup, clip magn tabletop modes, battery lasts for years. Oh yes, and the best part is the price. You can pay for this purchase with change, which you can find under the sofa cushions. Oh, like one reviewer said, this beeps every time you press the hour/minute buttons. I like this because it makes it easy to confirm presses without looking at the display. Yes, I must be lazy.
