After using it twice with a 30 minute setting, it stopped working properly. It turned off after the set time but didn't beep. I will change the battery, I hope it works. I bought this timer to replace a Pyrex digital timer I've had for over 8 years and it looks exactly like this CDN which has completely stopped working has been very heavily used over the years. even as an alarm clock (I'm a light sleeper).

I use it for baking. I love the fact that it counts hours and minutes instead of minutes and hours like many other alarm clocks I've found at Revain. The last minute is counted in seconds. It's very easy to use. I live in an apartment and the alarm is so loud I can hear it in another room. Not sure how noisy it would be if someone was across the house from the kitchen. I was hoping to order a timer to replace the exact old one I have. But I couldn't find it. I think I read the reviews about it which kinda warned me about it. I ordered anyway. I love its small size and easy setup. I had to take pills every 8 hours for a week. I just set the timer for 8 hours, took the pills and then reset it for another 8 hours. Simply peaceful. Also when watering the lawn I just set it to 1 hour and use it as a reminder to turn off the sprinklers. There are 3 buttons. two buttons, then press the bottom button to start the timer.
