Difficult project

It was difficult but I made it. It works, somehow. The legs move. My spider moves about a foot or so. It will probably move more if I wrap the rubber bands tighter. But I'm scared of breaking the block. You will need pliers and side cutters for assembly. The details are very tight. I bought extra sandpaper. Before I insert the toothpicks, I wax them. That makes the job easier. Be careful when pulling out parts. Some are very long and narrow. I use a knife to cut off some to free them. Also, be careful when pushing the pieces so as not to force the piece you're leaning on to break. Needless to say, read the instructions carefully. There is a video on youtube. Unfortunately, he spends too much time grinding and waxing. There is no close-up showing the gears folding into a series of knots in a 360 degree view. So if you're looking for a challenge, this kit is for you. I had low expectations so I am satisfied.
