I absolutely love this HD reader. "Excited about the HD reader?" You ask. Yes, I really do. I usually use StarTech readers. And they work great. About 6 months to a year. Then they break. Maybe it's me. I use them almost every day. I often switch from WFH and WFO. Even before the current pandemic. So I carry two 3TB drives with me every day. Sidebar: My IT department has determined that this is the best option for me. It's not, but I have to work with it. Now why am I in awe of these readers? The main thing is the on / off button. I don't want my home office to be lit up light blue all the time. There is no switch in StarTech, to turn it off you have to unplug it. And it's a @£% pain to have your desk clean and arranged the way you like it. Subscribe to RSHTech Reader and BAM! One push of a button and no annoying glow! Let's move on to other sink functions. It also has an SD card reader and USB ports! One less disposable item or one piece of junk cluttering up my desk. I love a clean workplace. and I'm sure you are too. In terms of specs, it can handle drives up to 12TB, 2.5" and 3.5" drives and also clone your drives for backup/archive. I think I paid about $150 for a StarTech cloning and $80 for a direct drive reader. So about 1/4 the price or more. Even if I only have 12 months of it, it is 100% worth it and saves money!
