This ring is so light and pretty. I really needed a shorter rod. Changed to this one and I forgot that it's here now I would say it has helped my healing by being shorter and lighter than my original wand MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN EVERYTHING before touching/inserting a foreign object into an open wound!
