I've bought several other LED personal safety lights and they worked fine, but to change the batteries I had to undo 4 tiny screws and replace 2 button cells. I decided to try rechargeable safety lights. I bought a pack of six to have spares on hand in case one of the batteries died. They have exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with the purchase. All 6 bulbs worked when received and are much brighter than the other bulbs they replaced. An unexpected benefit is that after setting the lighting mode, you can turn the light on and off without changing the lighting mode or toggling by pressing and holding the switch. within a few seconds. A short press changes the lighting mode. I walk my dogs 10-15 minutes every night and after over a month of use I'm still on the #1 light and original charger. It's true that the lights don't come with a charging cable, but I knew that before I ordered them and didn't expect it. Also, I have permanent USB charging stations both at home and at work, so charging isn't a big deal. The best value I've found so far are the Personal LED Safety Lights: they stay bright, don't need to change batteries, and are a lot brighter than some others I've had.
