I have a 7 month old 110lb Lab Whistle mix. I really wanted a leather leash and thought it would be perfect due to its versatility. When I first received the leash I thought the leather was a bit flimsy but I hoped it would work. I really like that the leash can be changed for different lengths so easily. My pup is still learning that he can't please everyone he sees on a walk. So when there are a lot of people around I walk him in the shortest possible way to keep control and when we are alone he has more freedom. This leash seemed pretty perfect, but after about a week and a half I noticed that the stitching around both clasps had already come undone and I'm concerned that if I go with it it will rip completely and it comes undone . I've read that a sewn-on leash makes it more durable, so I don't know if it's just bad luck or if they all will.
