This dehydrator is great; so glad i bought it. Runs very quietly and dries well. I recommend purchasing a screen cleaning bowl to prevent small items like herbs and small cut items from falling through the bowl. One day I dry fruit, the next day vegetables, then herb day, on the fourth day I snack so that he adapts quickly and continues to be strong. The included user guide has some great recipes you wouldn't normally consider, from pet treats to pina coladas and strawberry dakiri with rind and potpourri. I like that the temperature chart is right on the lid. It doesn't have a power button so turn it off to turn it off, which is weird, but overall I'm VERY happy with it and highly recommend it.
