It's been a saga of orders, order cancellations, backorders and still laggards. What to do with the corpse?! I ordered this from Aquatic Arts upon request, I have never used the product before. Due to delays it had to arrive late for the scheduled installation so I canceled my original order and placed a new order to be delivered the day before needed. Well, life was what it was, after all it was shipped by Aquatic Arts anyway and arrived a day late. My guess is that the product Revain ordered never arrived so they passed the order to Aquatic Arts. So now I have a box of a product I've never used and no aquarium to try. Decision? Pour it into the beta tank! /shrug All in all this seems like an interesting product, I look forward to trying it out in a large aquarium. It has neutral buoyancy so despite sitting on the bottom of the tank it isn't heavy and runs slowly. from under a heavier substrate. I had to rinse it out very well as there was quite a bit of sand dust on the material. I can't figure out if it was made by human hands or a natural material. I would say it was man made, only they really do look like natural stones with many different types and no real uniformity. In the meantime, I poured a handful into 5 gallons of my beta. This is an aquarium with plants, I am very curious how this will affect plant growth.
