The reputation of the clock precedes it.

I am a watchmaker. All my watches have some characteristics that others do not have, even though they are recognized vintage pieces. Ripley has a good selection of toys to list, but only if you need them. Climb, Walk, Grab Do you really need an altimeter, a thermometer, a compass? Then this is an interesting choice. I no longer need this hardware on my watch. To get a decent shit temperature, you take your watch off and lay it on a flat surface and stare at it for about 15 minutes. I just don't need a thermometer. You? The gesture that got me hooked was the ability to convert the digital information on the watch to analog. That's right, I thought there might be a time when I'd like to turn off the number signs in the background so people don't know they're there. Sigh. I figured if I or anyone really cares about this "City Mode" watch - strictly analog), then you need to think about how much weight you give other people's opinions. Chronometers are excellent, there are other watches. Unfortunately, night light, when digital data lights up in the background at the push of a button, is so weak that I actually had to squint when looking at the clock in the dark. It looks good, feels good, and Nixon was smart enough to put the crown on the left side so meeting the door and crown on your watch won't be the end of your watch. Conclusion: This is a cool toy that I just can't spend another few hundred dollars on. I don't need this watch. Ask yourself the same question.
