My NAS is only about 1 day old so I can't say how it will hold up in the long run, but I'm already very impressed. I put in 2 Hitachi 3TB drives and it took about 18 hours to sync up. I installed Plex and Subsonic through their app store and copied all my old media from my old external drives connected to my RPi3 and within 24 hours of unboxing I'm up and running again. The 3 year guarantee is also good. , although I hope I never have to use it. But 3 years on a NAS is the best I've seen, most others are only 2. If you're looking for a cheap NAS to get fault-tolerant storage, this one from Asus seems to be the best of the bunch. The *only* comment I have is that I don't think I can expand the RAM on the NAS. 512MB isn't much since Plex and Subsonic use half of that even when idle. So if I ever want to integrate my Wyze camera's local storage to store it on the NAS in the future, I may encounter some RAM issues.
