Review on 📷 Dorman 590-419 Park Assist Camera | Compatible with Ford Escape Variants by Chris Meckler

I bought and installed the camera in my 2015 Ford Escape in August 2020. The package it arrived in was a small, slightly dented, no-frills box. However, the minimalist packaging did not detract from the camera. After installing the camera, I checked the backup several times. The camera worked well, although I suspect the resolution isn't as sharp as the factory device. Within 24 hours, the control lines projected into the visual field sometimes choose not to appear. After installing the camera after about a month I would say that at least 20% of the time the reference lines are not shown. I contacted the Dorman dealer through their website and still haven't heard from them. I would not buy this camera again but am glad there are alternatives to my Ford dealer's expensive cameras.
