I replaced the jack on my trailer with this jack and it is absolutely the best. The old jack worked fine, but if the handle was in the wrong position and you lowered the tailgate, it would smash your tailgate. I removed the old stationary jack and installed this screw so the tailgate went down and never touched the jack. The jack folds parallel to the frame with a simple movement of a spring-loaded bolt. I put two of these on the tow bar of my 7000 lb car transporter and have the option of using one or both for a very heavy load. They are very durable and work great.
