This hose reel is pretty decent quality. The outer enclosure is plastic but feels durable.The hose is decent quality as well. However I feel like it will not survive the hot and humid conditions or if you have it outside. I have this hose reel installed inside my warehouse. My Warehouse is fully air-conditioned so I do not see a problem with it. The reason I say this is because the hose material is the same hose material I've seen on other hose reels that does not last that long in high heat or high humidity conditions.The hardware this hose reel comes with does not fit through the interlocking cutouts that are machined on the mounting bracket. I guess it's not a big deal if you are mounting it somewhere that you have access to the other side. In my case I had to drill the concrete wall and use concrete screws with washers to secure it.The locking mechanism sometimes is a hit-or-miss when you pull the hose out. But it doesn't work 70% of the time.
