Will not fit 2016 Toyota RAV4

I bought this for my 2016 Toyota RAV4 and it will not fit cup holders. You need enough space to insert the base, then rotate the device to expand the bottom. If your cup holder is near the shifter or stereo console, you won't be able to rotate it. It must be higher; If he did, the tray would be right in my lap. It fit in my husband's 2019 Ford F150. It looks sturdy and the large drink holder holds a hydro bottle.
