Review on Yu Mn Alkaline Water Bag Purification by Emily Mason

First of all I tried a portable alkaline water bag for the very first time. So I had no expectations to compare this. I thought it would be an interesting idea because I drink Essentia water for its alkaline benefits and taste. I use essential water for almost all drinking purposes, including tea, and filtered water for cooking and everything else. I now have a new improved filtration system and was hoping I could use this alkaline water bag to further improve my filtered water. Use it for tea, which saves a lot of money on buying Essentia water (I drink 2-4 liters of water (including Perrier) without boiling, so it costs me quite a bit). First impressions weren't great as the box arrived damaged and a couple of the bags were also punctured. So when I opened the box, there were small mineral stones everywhere. I know it's more of a delivery issue but it was still a little disappointing. Now I followed the instructions exactly. But to be honest, 3-5 minutes didn't make much of a difference for about 0.75 liters of water. So I tried it with a cup of water and thought I could taste the difference. But I don't think it comes close to the taste of Essential Water. In any case, after experimenting with this in a number of ways, I think it's best to leave the bag over 500ml or so overnight whatever the weather. The filtered water I used for testing didn't taste bad at first. Maybe that's why I didn't notice a drastic difference. I won't test the tap water because I just don't want to haha. As I have not tested the pH strip myself I cannot guarantee that it will work as advertised, just the filtered water tastes a little better or different I would say.
