Took this out for a backpacking trip this weekend for the first time. The concept is nice with the built in bug net and supports but it's very cheaply made. The tree straps seem nice and sturdy at least and easy to set up.The bottom snagged on something the first night causing a hole in the bottom. Nothing was sharp in or outside of hammock so not sure what caused the little rip. Second night I set it up on the ground concerned the rip would worsen if hung again. Not much vertical room in there if done like that but if you pull it as tight as you can and put objects under the poles you can get it to raise enough to be comfortable. Third night I hung it again and this time when I tried to get in by sitting on the edge, the zipper seam ripped out. I only weigh 125 so not like I was anywhere near exceeding the weight limit. The channels for the poles are poorly constructed as well and it's hard to get the poles out the other end because it gets stuck in the folder back fabric at the end of the channel. The pockets aren't crafted any better and any one I used ripped at the edge because there's no depth to most of them meaning if it's hung tight the pocket is inaccessible and if you try to use it, will tear it's seam.I decided to exchange it for the same one because I would like it if it wasn't so chintzy. Hoping the next one lasts more that 3 uses. Will try to be extra careful with it by not sitting on the very edge, looking around very carefully for anything sharp that could snag it, fabric taping the pole channel so pole can get through more easily, and only using the pockets with depth.Update: second one ripped at the zipper second time using it as well. The pockets of this one are all sewn with zero clearance to put items in them and you have to rip the seams at the edge to use them. Channels for poles are narrower so harder to get the pole through. All that tell me they have zero quality control and just spit these chintzy items out as quick as possible without looking at their work at all.
