I'm only giving five stars because it's a great tool for the money. They make $200+ tools that do the job more precisely, but for me this was the perfect solution. It's actually well made for a piece of plastic (although the holes are lined with steel)! I built a great jewel. a drawer with about 15 drawers about 20 years ago but never installed a record on it. Not sure why but I didn't. He just sat there! With this tool I was able to drill holes for dowels in the top and bottom and finally install that top. Yes, I may have overdone the 12 dowels, but now I can lift a 5 foot tall box at the top! Don't forget to mark the dowel centers to make sure you can line up your holes. It doesn't work without her.
