I've had these boots for three months now and I really like them. I spend a lot of my workday outside in upstate NY and so far they're super warm with the right socks. They're really comfortable now that they're well broken in but it definitely took a while for them to soften up. Pretty waterproof after waxing too.Regarding sizing; I have small feet and found these as my best bet for getting a nice leather work boot that would fit. Most of the women's boots from similar companies aren't made in the same way or of the same materials as their men's section equivalents, or are made for fashion instead of function. I'm a size 6.5 in women's & got the men's 5's, I don't think I'd buy these if you're smaller than a 6.5w/5m, as even at the smallest size they're pretty heavy and chunky and only really feel well fit with thick socks on. But I'm just happy Thorogood goes as small as they do, as most other brands stop at a men's 8.I rated four stars because the soles aren't actually very nonslip, at least not for my workplace (lots of loose dry coffee grounds/crushed beans on a polished floor). I wish they at least had a little more tread to them. I haven't had to deal with much ice yet though so that'll be the real test. I also feel like they're proportionally pretty chunky for their size, and feel a little longer than they should. But this is my first heavy duty pair of boots so that could just come with the territory.Overall though I'm super happy with these and definitely recommend if you're in a similar sizing predicament as me.
