Works well with the right pipe, isn't a complete seal but doesn't matter for drainage.
I hooked it up to a new grate drain pipe replacing the 6" drain pipe (which always gets clogged with dirt when it rains. You need to get the right one) Matching 4" pipe (PVC, not drain) just match the one Bring hardware store.I've added some duct tape to give a little better seal but it worked for my purposes.There hasn't been any serious rain yet but hopefully no more puddles next to the sidewalk with clogged drains!
