I have marble on my bathroom floor that is etched from various products splashing onto the floor. Some of the spots were severe with 1/4 inch dimples and some were just shadows. It takes a lot of effort (4 minutes for each grit) to get rid of the stain. It takes even longer for the end grain to get a decent shine. Even with a lot of extra time, the shine isn't quite the same as the original. I haven't been able to fully smooth out anything with a real dimple or dimple either. I think this is a good buy if you have a few small areas that need fixing. The blocks are small (the size of your palm) so try to make more than one 12 x 12 x 6 tile of different varieties. This is a good delay to hide obvious damage to the ground, but I don't get the professional results that other people have mentioned in reviews.
