Review on Maximize Precision and Efficiency with DEWALT DW2095 Bit Set and Magnetic Drive Guide by James Parker

I bought this a year ago to assemble a bookshelf and it helped a bit with the job. I'm not a DIY fan, but every now and then I have to make something myself. At the time of purchase I thought this would be a nice addition to my tool box. I needed it again recently to run me into a 3" wood screw. Bingo. The #10 head didn't fit the tube and I had to do the job the old way without using it. If I understand correctly, the washer guide is only needed when the screw is long. And most long screws have big heads. So if I can't use it for this case, when will I need it? Also, the plastic tubing doesn't look any stronger than a disposable injector. I only needed it twice a year but if I were someone who used it regularly I guess it would be dead by now. Imagine a steel screw being turned at a very high speed and all they have is a thin, clear plastic tube to counter it. What do you expect? I'm sure there will come a time when I'll put it to good use, but until then I think it's an expensive luxury and I regret not spending my $10 on it.
