Review on 🔌 iCreatin 2-Port Gigabit PoE+ Injector Adapter - IEEE 802.3 at & af Compliant, 100 Meters Range, 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45, Plug and Play by Marc Zitnik

The review is a little long but describes inconsistent behavior and different components used. There was a TP-Link EAP330 powered by a NETGEAR JGS516PE switch with 802.3af POE. After determining that the access point needed to operate on 802.3, the company purchased this 35W device. Installed and the hotspot continued to work fine. You need to replace the access point with TP-Link EAP225v3 to support seamless roaming. Tried using this injector to power a NETGEAR GS105PE switch. The NETGEAR switch was functional BUT only showed 802.3af input. This will not work as 802.3at requires higher power to pass additional power to POE enabled ports to power an EAP225v3 AP. Removed GS105PE and reverted to previous GS108E. An attempt was then made to power an EAP225v3, which specifies the 802.3af standard, with this 35W POE injector. The access point would not turn on and the yellow POE injector LED was blinking. The EAP225v3 works well when connected to the included af injector or JGS516PE switch, both of which offer 802.3af POE. Troubleshooting used the same 5ft to 10ft CAT5e cables, so cable length or a bad cable was not an issue. This behavior is similar to previous reviews that questioned compliance with 802.3af/at standards. I'm not sure if the device is not fully compliant with 802.3af/at protocols for proper class identification/negotiation between injector and terminal or what the problem could be.
