Easy to click in the car vent area First, I put my phone directly into this holder without a case and it has strong suction. I used my own large piece of magnet. Holds up well and strong. I decided to put a case on the phone as a one year old keeps dropping the phone. My body is very thin. My old air vent phone holder can always hold my phone easily, it won't slip or fall. I expect the same from this owner. I was very disappointed. It has clips for ventilation but doesn't hold the phone with a case. No matter how thin your body is. Cell phone crashes immediately, my iphone8plus and my Samsung Galaxy. As long as they have a case, this phone holder can't do anything! At all! But the other holder is there, they do. So, in summary, if you don't plan to use a case it works great, if you plan to use a case on your phone it doesn't work at all. People who have big phones like the iPhone Pro Max just skip this one and move on to the next, it doesn't hold big phones.
