Please avoid this device like crap on the road. I am very disappointed as I thought I had done my research before purchasing the Bestek converter and "on paper" it seemed like a decent device that would charge my electronics and turn my alarm on. All low power and low power devices. My research online revealed that something like a 2000w 220v hair dryer needed to be purchased separately, which I did (See to find a converter/adapter for my 110v US compatible units. It worked at first and I thought everything was fine The green "Good" light came on. Well Bestek proved me wrong! I went to check why my electronic devices weren't charging, sure, that the green "good" light wasn't on. Of course it has to be an outlet or something. I turned on the outlets and it turned on and then off again after a few minutes. Eventually after trying for a few hours To fix the problem I threw this faulty unit in the trash so my 30 day return window was coming to an end and I needed the airline checked baggage weight for things that actually work, please do not attempt this unit to buy and ruin your trip.
