Review on ๐Ÿฆ Wagner's 52023 Black Oil Sunflower Seed Wild Bird Food, 5-Pound Bag: High-Quality Nutrition for Your Feathered Friends by Erin Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not just for birds!

I don't feed my birds. I used mine to germinate. I soak them between damp paper towels overnight until white root tips appear. Then I plant them in coconut soft medium on the windowsill and spray them with water 3-4 times a day. This way I get a high germination rate of delicious sunflower sprouts for soups, salads or side dishes. Unfortunately too greedy to share this with the birds. they are just too delicious. However, I will share them with my dog - yes, even he likes them! Using bird seed is a really inexpensive way to grow tasty and nutritious natural snacks.

Pros
  • The highest quality grain used for mixing
Cons
  • Expensive
