Review on πŸŒ€ EFFECTIVE High Ceiling Fan Duster by EVERSPROUT – Flexible Microfiber with Adjustable Extension Pole for Easy Cleaning of Any Fan Blade – Extendable up to 10 Ft for Convenient Use by Brandi Walker

Excellent rag with retractable rod that locks into place.

I bought this a few months ago and I love it. I have 10 foot ceilings and a vault up to about 20 feet with a fan suspended at about 12 feet. I have tried several lobes with so-called telescopic rods in the past few years. Once the pole was extended, it kept collapsing during cleaning, and the cleaning tools attached were flexible and difficult to control. The posts were made of lightweight metal that was not strong and wobbled when extended, again making their use very labor intensive. After a few tries I've given up so far. This one is amazing and very well done. The bar is thicker, more solid, but not heavy at all. It has latches that can be locked when you slide it out. It's really brilliant. It stays straight and stable when fully extended, making the job a lot easier. The included dust removal tool is nice and long and does a really good job of removing dust and holding it until you brush it off the outside. One side is smooth and the other side has long ribs that collect dust just as effectively. No dust shower when trying to clean. The tool can be bent to slide over the fan blades. Several reviewers noted that the dust removal tool broke when bent. Again, it looks very strong, but I wouldn't bend it to hold the part that attaches to the bar. I keep the piece of fabric covering the flexible lobe so there is no pressure on the handle when bending. I don't really expect breakage problems. The cloth part of the rag head is washable. This rag is also great for walls. I extended it fully for the fan and just opened it up to shorten the rack to clear dust on walls, around door frames, woodwork and along baseboards. Works beautifully along the narrow edge of skirting boards and on the sides. No incline. I then unscrewed the head of the rag and used it as a hand rag for furniture and blinds. All this in one space without changing tools. I really had to contact the manufacturer because I didn't accurately estimate the size of support required for a curved ceiling fan. Your customer service was great, very polite and advised me on the pole size that would be best for a curved ceiling fan. The stick they recommend has a 12-foot range and comes with a round fluffy dust cap, which is great too. I didn't want to part with what I already had so they sent me a 12' with a boot for my larger fans at a reasonable price. It's perfect. Cleaning tools are often fragile and can make the job difficult, but this is not one of them. It's rare that I'm really happy with a cleaner, but I'm so glad I ordered this one and will definitely be ordering more tools from them.
