Review on 🔌 MICTUNING Heavy Duty 7-Way Trailer Cord Plug Connector | Transparent Covered 7-Gang Junction Box, 8 Feet, Weatherproof by Jon Thompson

This cord is only 7ft 1in long. The compartment for this wiring on my 5th wheel is off center and I already pulled out my 7ft cable with a single twist. slightly longer cable. I like the backbox more than most other options. I used adhesive butt connectors and adhesive heat shrink tubing to splice another 4 feet of wire to this wire and then covered the splices with shrink wrap. I then added a new terminal connectors tomconnect to the box. The schematic for my 7 pin Ram 2500 setup matched the colors and connector placement for this one. It didn't match the diagrams posted by others. I have an ohmmeter used at connector end and other end with wire color corresponding to connector position to check wiring continuity and correctness. FYI do this as it's very simple, before you install it - find the wire in ohms. It would be nice to find a wire using all 10 gauge wires, but I couldn't. I don't think there's more choice with thick wires, so this is the best option, but not the best. All other trailers would be fine, but fifth wheels can make jack turns that require a lot of cable. It used to be possible to get any 10 gauge wire.
