Didn't know 8x8 rulers weren't common. As a result of the search, it turned out how unusual they are! 8.5x8.5 are common but I really needed an 8x8 and was very happy to find yours. The only thing I would have wished for more would be for the markings to be clear in both dimensions, but I used colored removable tape to mark the lines all the way down so I could see the center mark on my blocks in each direction can use. .Thanks for that. When I opened the package I panicked a bit when I saw the brown paper, but was very happy to find that it can be removed to reveal a clear ruler.
