Beautiful quilted square. I really like the thickness of the plastic. I agree with other comments that a rectangular ruler should have a little more marking in the center and it would be nice if there were markings on all four sides. However, it's still a good template for your craft tool box. Very glad I bought!

a good ruler for cutting blocks to a uniform 8" square (to make finished 7 1/2" quilted blocks). I was disappointed that the inch markings weren't on all four sides of the ruler. Supplied with brown paper glued on which is difficult to peel off as it does not peel off in one big piece but in strips. Didn't know 8x8 rulers weren't common. As a result of the search, it turned out how unusual they are! 8.5x8.5 are common but I really needed an 8x8 and was very happy to find yours.
