Review on Befano Manual Pasta Maker: Versatile, Easy-To-Use Stainless-Steel Machine With 6 Adjustable Thickness Settings And Pasta Cutter by Chris Mania

Great roller, terrible cutter

Bought this pasta maker to delve deeper into my fixation with cooking. Used 00 flour and made my own dough. The roller works great! I'd suggest brushing a little flour over the roller before using it so that the dough doesn't stick to it. Adjustable thickness is wonderful. The rollers that cut the pasta absolutely SUCK. They simply crimp the dough into the pattern of the pasta you want, but never cut though the dough. each noodle is attached to the next by a thin piece of dough that the cutter will absolutely not cut. And I've tried different thicknesses of dough. Really upset me that I had to reroll the dough and go at it with a just a pizza wheel. Make the cutters actually cut all the way through the dough and I'd rate it a perfect 5 stars. Otherwise I'd look into a different pasta maker if you really want it to cut the noodles as well.
